Reimagining Tempelhof, Berlin 2030

Berlin, as one of Europe's largest metropolises and a vibrant melting pot of culture, history, and innovation, requires a spacious, well-designed, and versatile green park.

Thanks to its size and central location, Tempelhofer Feld is the perfect location.

Our concept is based on three design guidelines that address and reflect the five assessment criteria of the dialogue process.

I. Natural Accents - The design of canals, lakes, and mountains, reminiscent of the landscape of southern natural areas (e.g., Bavaria).

II. Green Carpet - Preservation and balanced expansion of open space in harmony with nature, and a homogeneous distribution of uses.

III. Concentric Structure - A clear structure consisting of two concentric rings and an inner field, crisscrossed by paths, ensuring optimal access to the entire area while providing a network of interesting routes for cyclists, athletes, and visitors.
